For my senior capstone project, I wanted to talk about growth. I had a fully realized idea of writing and illustrating a book, and then the COVID-19 pandemic occurred, and my project seemed to completely lack substance. Everything I was writing seemed to lead to writing about the situation our world has found itself in, and how it has affected myself and my classmates. “To the Class of 2020” is a video written and produced by myself and performed by Loyola University Chicago seniors. It is my attempt at processing and grieving this situation. I know it’s hard, and I know it’s heavy, but I hope it gives you hope. As seniors graduating from college remotely, it’s difficult to see our next steps, but I know we will grow from this.

It’s our turn to go forth and set the world on fire.

As the Marketing Director for Chi Omega Lambda Mu at Loyola University Chicago, one of my responsibilities was to direct, film, and produce the recruitment video. While many chapters paid a company to produce their video, we think it is more meaningful and effective to have our sisters be hands-on in the process.

Another project I took on as Marketing Director was the Philanthropy Video. Chi Omega’s philanthropy is Make-A-Wish. This philanthropy is a huge part of our chapter, and we often work directly with the kids and the foundation. This video was used to show our work with Make-A-Wish throughout the year at our Philanthropy round of recruitment.
